The Project
Kabissa is an NGO that connects people and civil society organizations working for positive change in Africa. Kabissa’s network of more than 1,500 members work on critical issues such as human rights, education, microfinance, health and social services, and economic development.
Web domains, hosting, and training to help organizations in Africa get online were the original focus for Kabissa.
Social networking and peer learning became their focus after free options for websites and blogs proliferated in the years since Kabissa was founded.
Fuse IQ took up the challenge of reworking Kabissa’s website into a full-featured online community.
The Results
- Social networking platform
- Blogs, wikis, groups, private messaging
- Issue-specific mailing lists
